Jim Bitzenhofer founded Jim Bitzenhofer Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Inc. in 1979. He started with one truck and a passion for providing excellent HVAC and refrigeration service. In 1995, Jim purchased Koch Refrigeration from Rich Koch. Rich founded Koch Refrigeration in 1967. The merger expanded our team of qualified technicians to serve a growing customer base. Jim sold the business to his son, Jim Bitzenhofer, and nephew, Tom Schaefer, in 2008. Jim and Tom began their careers with the company in 1992, continuing the traditions of hard work, dedication and customer service today.
